Principles

Authenticity

At Egret, we design authentic landscapes. As landscape architects, our media is living and will not be stagnant. This means that we will have conversations about project expectations, budgets, and maintenance. These inputs help us design a project that will thrive and function over time.

Collaboration

Design shouldn’t happen in a vacuum, and we know that good projects are the result of meaningful collaboration. We want to hear about conversations and decisions that have (or haven’t) been made. At Egret, we genuinely want to engage, so we will ask meaningful questions that will help us understand the client’s and end user’s perspectives.

Communication

Since we believe so strongly in a collaborative design approach, there should be clear communication. At Egret, that means communication is open, and decisions are shared.
